Third Sector Forum was established in 2007 to provide a neutral space for the development of debate and discussion in order to seek solutions around some of the social, political and economic challenges that face Ireland in the 21^st Century.

Through a process of facilitating dialogue and challenging conventional wisdoms Third Sector Forum (TSF) aims to assist in the recognition of issues of mutual concern and shared opinion between practitioners in the Political, Not for Profit and Business sectors in Ireland.

In October, Third Sector Forum successfully hosted a'Business in the Environmental Goods & Services Industry- Do business, Learn and Network' held in Killarney. Speakers included Brian Motherway (Head of Strategy SEI), Mary O'Halloran (National Procurement Unit- OPW), Marina Donohoe, (Enterprise Ireland), Conor McCarthy (MD- Jennings O'Donovan), Philip Dowling (Change.ie) and Kara Flannery (Greenbusiness.ie)

Speakers at other TSF seminars have included Jim Power of Friends First, Dr Philip Byrne (IPA), Sean Murphy (Chambers Ireland), Marie Sherlock (SIPTU), Dermot Lacey (Dublin City Councillor), John Cushnahan (Former FG MEP), Niall Crowley (ex CEO of the Equality Authority), Charlie O'Connor TD, Nora Owen (Former Justice Minister), Conor Healy (CEO- Cork Chambers), Senator Alex White, Richard Delevan, Cllr Killian Forde, Aine O'Mahony, Damien Mulley, Dr Liam Weeks, Dr Declan Jordan.
